The holiday season is here, and while—like everything else this year—it may look different than we expected, there are still plenty of ways to get in the holiday spirit.
Huts on Main
Head over to Bethlehem’s Main Street and visit the beautifully decorated array of wooden huts filled with collections of holiday gifts! Ranging from artisan oils to homemade pastries, these pop-ups have options for everyone. The huts are open Thursdays through Sundays until December 27.
Holiday Market at The Farm Bakery & Events
The Farm Bakery & Events is debuting its first-ever holiday market. Join in on the festive fun with baked goods, warm cocoa, Christmas décor and so much more. The market will be open every Friday from 4 –9 p.m. beginning December 4, and every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through December 19.
Gallery 840’s Holiday Shop
Open Thursday through Saturday until December 17, Gallery 840 in Allentown is the perfect spot to find unique gifts and art for family and friends. Featuring the works of various artisans around the Lehigh Valley, there will be paintings, jewelry, ceramics, engraved glassware, Moravian candles, hand-painted ornaments, cards and more available for purchase.
Christkindlmarkt is the ultimate Lehigh Valley holiday experience. The two-decade-old event draws in more than one million guests in search of holiday cheer. Christkindlmarkt is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until December 6, so make sure to stop by and browse the unique and beautiful gift items offered by vendors.
Lights in the Parkway
Join the city of Allentown in a festive celebration of Lights in the Parkway. Take in the magical displays of lights throughout the park while tuning into holiday music on the radio! This event kicks off on November 27 and continues through December 27, with advanced online ticket sales available. No on-site payments will be accepted this year.
The Baum School of Art’s Holiday Gallery
The Baum School of Art kicks off its 2020 holiday gallery on December 1, celebrating more than 40 of the region’s talented artists and artisans. Check out the gallery online or in-person by appointment. Shop the ceramics, woodworks, paintings, jewelry, ornaments, fashions and more. Even purchase works by your favorite artists.
Christmas in the Quarter
The Historic Colonial Industrial Quarter is holding its first ever holiday pop-up event every weekend until December 27. Some special features include an outdoor winter bar, art exhibits and family photo opportunities. This festive setup is open Thursdays and Fridays from 5–8 p.m., Saturdays 2–8 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Holiday Weekends at Seiple Farms
Join Seiple Farms from November 27 to December 13 for their three-weekend holiday event. Shop beautiful holiday items like handmade wreaths, blankets and more. Be sure to participate in a candy cane hunt through oversized trees, with a hayride! Proceeds will benefit the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
Winter Village in Historic Easton
New this holiday season, Easton will debut its Winter Village on November 27, which will run through December 31. Peruse the shoppable huts in Centre Square featuring some of the city’s favorite retailers and restaurants. Enjoy live entertainment, hot cocoa and, perhaps most excitingly, an ice-skating rink. The village is open Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
Winter Light Spectacular
The Winter Light Spectacular at the Lehigh Valley Zoo is back with over 1.2 million lights illuminating the various holiday displays scattered throughout the zoo. Check out this classic holiday experience Wednesday through Sunday evenings until January 2. They’ve even added bonus days and hours for the 2020 season to spread some extra cheer!
